WORKSHOPS

PAPERMAKING
Led by Akira Matsumoto you will create a decorated greeting card using a simple hand papermaking technique.
Cost: small contribution for materials
Ongoing; join whenever a place becomes available

MINI JOURNAL
Led by Miu de Vries from atelier STRO
you will make a "mini journal with a leather cover".
Duration approx. 30–40 minutes, materials €5.
Suitable for all levels, maximum 6 participants. Please sign up at the stand.

BOOKLET WITH INSERT STRIPS
Led by Ineke Vergeer from BOEKINBINDING
you will make a non-sewn binding held together with inserted strips.
Duration approx. 45 minutes, materials €3.

BOX WITH A BOOKLET
Led by Annemieke van der Moezel
you will make a small box with a fixed lid and a matching booklet.
Duration approx. 30 minutes, materials €5.

* Cutting technique
Sarah Verstraete demonstrates the measuring, folding and cutting technique developed by Tine Noreille.
With this method you skip the pencil stage: measuring and cutting are done at the same time — fast and very precise!

* Gilding
CVO Gent and IKA demonstrate how book covers can be gilded.
