WORKSHOPS

JOURNEY MAPS - Illustrating narrative maps
During this workshop, you will create a small Journey Map together with illustrator André Massee.
Journey Maps are fantasy maps that you can use to tell a unique, personal story.
You can use this for all kinds of fun applications, such as unique gifts, invitations, your journal and much more.
Duration approx. 60 minutes, costs € 12,-

INTUITIVE WORK WITH INK
Under the guidance of Leonie Vollenberg from atelier Velijn
you will decorate large sheets of paper with ink.
You will receive instructions on how to make a booklet with the decorated sheets.

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE: Calligraph a message in a bottle in Bastarda Italiana script
Under the guidance of Lizemijn Libgott of LiliLettering
With a few exercises, Lizemijn will quickly help you understand how to do calligraphy and how the pen works.
This way, you can immediately start writing beautiful quotes for your message in a bottle!
At the end of the workshop, you will take your letter in a bottle with you: who knows what great adventures your message in a bottle can lead to...

Sarah Verstraete shows Tine Noreille's measuring, folding and cutting technique.
With this method you skip the pencil phase, you measure and cut at the same time, very quickly, very perfectly!

* Gilding
CVO Gent and IKA will demonstrate how to gild book covers.
